In addition, every five years, Resurrection-St. Paul School is evaluated based on the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools (NSBECS). The NSBECS is intended to describe how the most mission-driven, program effective, well managed, and responsibly governed Catholic schools operate. They are offered as school effectiveness standards rather than curriculum content standards, although they support curriculum development consistent with national curriculum standards. STEM Certification
Resurrection-St. Paul School is a Howard County STEM certified school.

Green School Certified
In May of 2019, Resurrection-St. Paul School received a renewal of the Green School Award by the Maryland Association of Environmental and Outdoor Education (MAEOE). The school has held this certification since May of 2015. The award shows the progress towards achieving the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) environmental literacy requirement. The Maryland Green Schools Program is nationally recognized program that provides a framework for creating sustainable environmental structures at school, home and in the community.
